Staring off into the distance to see clouds overhead, I often find peace in their shapes and colors. This marshy ocean landscape painting has an impressionist style showing off the curving coastline of southern California glittering in daylight. Beach plants and nature reflect light upon the water in tide pools inviting you in to play. Waves crash up against the rocks along the beach. The brush strokes are loose and impressionistic, creating a mosaic of color and texture across the canvas.

“Reflection of Light” was created on 1/2″ canvas, with the painting continued around the edges.
